Welcome to Stop PIPA and SOPA!

PIPA and SOPA are federal acts that will censor the web if Congress passes it. Help us stop it! PIPA and SOPA are to stop copyright infringement and online piracy. Although these may be important, they can be done in ways other than censoring everything on the web! Most of Google and Bing search results will be gone, Wikipedia would potentially be taken down, ALL of YouTube, probably even SchoolTube (an educational version of YouTube, ALREADY censored for school students). They would be KILLING the web. Like Wikipedia says, imagine a world without free knowledge.

Also, it is unconstitutional. Are they telling us we can't say what we want on the web? I thought this was a free country. If we can't download a drawing tutorial for a pony or something, what else are we not going to be able to do in the near future?

But it is all up to us! By clicking in the following links, we can STOP congress from passing the SOPA and PIPA acts. Like I said, these things are important, but they can be achieved in other ways, ways that would not have such a negative impact on children's and adults' mental and artistic progress. How will we learn if we are not allowed to see? How will be progress if we are not allowed to share? How will we be known if we are not allowed to show others?

The internet is not for hacking, or sitting in front of the computer all day. It is not what people would think of when they hear 'children on the internet.' It means we are learning, growing, deciding for ourselves, understanding, making friends, realizing, laughing, and pretty much being kids. Please, help us save our generations!

In order to save the web, click here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page or here Please don't censor the web! to help us! MAKE YOURSELF HEARD BEFORE JANUARY 24, 2011!

If you agree with SOPA and PIPA, that is perfectly fine. You are free to think whatever you want! Please hear our opinions, though.

As the children of America, a free country, we write this directly to Congress: Please do not take away our learning resources. Please do not pass the PIPA and SOPA acts that censor the internet. Thank you for listening to us.

Sincerely and with very much hope that someone will listen to us,
